Celebrating my birthday over Labor Day is a tradition I cherish, spending time with friends and kids outdoors, which is my preferred way of being. Turning 46 feels significantly older than 45, nudging closer to 50 has prompted Brian and me to think more about our future. We took adulting seriously this year, creating a proper will/trust, undergoing preventive blood work, and focusing on our health. Despite facing health challenges like high cholesterol and heart inflammation, we are investing in our well-being. Balancing work aspirations with family time is a priority, especially with only 6-8 more years of our kids being at home. Daniel Pink’s “The Power of Regret” and Arthur C. Brooks’ “From Strength to Strength” have been influential in shaping my perspective on opportunity costs.
June: Brian And I Alone Trip To New York

White Fish, Montana
