When I found out we were going to renovate our kitchen, one of the things I was most excited about was having a new spice drawer. Today, I’m thrilled to share all the details with you!
My first step was to order some new glass spice bottles to keep everything uniform and avoid having a mishmash of plastic containers.
But I couldn’t resist taking it a step further and spray painting the tops gold 😉
I used the spray paint in the color Antique Brass Metallic.
Then I sealed them with this Matte Clear Enamel.
The bottles came with labels, but I wanted to design my own from the start. I had a blast creating these! The black and brass combination is just stunning!
It took some time to find the best place to print them, and I ended up using AVERY printing. It was a bit of work because I had to upload each file individually, but it was affordable, and the quality is excellent.
Custom Size Label: 2.5″H x 1.25″W
Paper: Matte White Film
It cost less than $20, and you get more labels than you need, so you can add extra ones for any spices you might want to change in the future.
If you don’t need waterproof labels, you can always print these at home for free, but I prefer the durability of these ones!
Our cabinet maker bought and installed the wooden organizer that the jars sit on, but you can find them online at many stores: SPICE DRAWER ORGANIZER.
I tried to include all the most commonly used spices, but if there’s one missing that you’d like, just let me know!
I absolutely love how these turned out, and I find myself opening my spice drawer just to admire their beauty. I hope my spice drawer organization inspires you!
