This is the final bathroom of my brother’s river house, and it’s likely the one that guests see the most. I have my favorite bathrooms in the house, but this one takes the top spot. It has a punch of color, pattern, and a lot of green (go Ducks!). Green tiled bathrooms are always a win.

We selected the green tile for this bathroom when Max and I were working on the project together. We collaborated with Ann Sacks for the tile, which has beautiful colors and quality. The tile was staggered as a rectangle, creating a stunning effect that is loved by everyone in the house.
A Big Pivot…

Originally, we had chosen a wall-hung farm sink from Kohler, but as the project progressed, it felt out of place. After some design conflicts, we decided to explore other options.

With time constraints and the bathroom being visible to many, we improvised by using a leftover wall-hung drawer vanity and tiling a smaller version of it with the leftover tile. It was a risk, but it paid off beautifully.
