Mascara is a must-have beauty essential for me, and I’m sure many of you feel the same way. With naturally lighter lashes, I look half asleep without mascara. But a few coats can transform my look entirely. The Benefits of This Mascara
First of all, I was amazed that this mascara (and all of essence’s other amazing mascaras I’ve tried) is only $5. What a steal! While it did take a few coats, the results were comparable to the lash extensions I used to wear. It provided volume, length, and that coveted fanned-out effect without any clumping. The “False Lash Effect” claim in the product name definitely held up based on my experience.

This mascara helped me coat each and every lash for that fanned-out effect I mentioned earlier.
Another thing I noticed while using it was how much product ended up on my waterline during application. You could easily remove it with a Q-tip if you didn’t want it there, but for me, it gave the appearance of wearing eyeliner, which I don’t typically do. It added to the bold, dramatic look, which I really liked. The formula is also easy to build without clumping, and my lashes stayed defined throughout the day.
