Supermodel Jasmine Tookes recently launched her Brunel body-care line, a heartfelt expression of her lifelong passion for skincare, self-care, and staying centered. With Brunel, Tookes has created more than just products, crafting a personal love letter to the world that helped shape her career and to herself, honoring her journey, personal evolution, and intentional rituals that sustain her sense of balance both on and beyond the runway.

What made you decide to launch Brunel?

Tookes shared, “I’ve been in the modeling industry for 15-plus years, and beauty has always been my biggest passion. There’s been so many times over the span of my career where people have approached me to start a beauty brand—whether it’s makeup, hair care, body care…but it just never felt like the right time. When thinking of starting a brand, I always wanted to do it with the right person at the right time and with the right product. I truly feel like a brand is never only about a person—it has to have a purpose to the consumer. I think finding our purpose and the right timing with Brunel was everything.”

Were there any unexpected challenges in bringing Brunel to market?

Tookes revealed, “Timelines have been our biggest enemy since we launched. We had to navigate packaging, formulations, and ensuring our products cater to every skin tone. These challenges made for better products, and we overcame them.”

What sets Brunel apart from other brands?

Tookes explained, “We focus on enhancing mood while caring for the skin. Our products offer both long-term skin benefits and quick mood-enhancing benefits, which make us stand out from the rest.”

How has motherhood impacted your wellness journey?

Tookes shared, “My days now consist of me waking up and just going! I try to make everything very intentional with my time, ensuring I have moments for self-care and rituals that I enjoy.”

Has your beauty routine changed since becoming a mother?

Tookes mentioned, “I’ve kept my routine simple but pay more attention to the ingredients in products. I prioritize clean formulations to ensure my daughter’s health and my own.”

Any other brands you admire for their wellness focus?

Tookes mentioned, “KORA Organics is a brand that I really love.”

I have a close friendship with Miranda Kerr, who is deeply passionate about wellness and beauty. Whenever I need advice on sunscreen, I always turn to her expertise. I trust her products enough to use them on my daughter as well. Her recommendations and products are truly amazing.

My mother has been a significant influence in my career and in raising my daughter. She has been my biggest supporter since the beginning of my career, traveling with me to fashion shows and providing unwavering support. Her presence has kept me grounded and confident in navigating the ups and downs of the modeling industry. Having her by my side has been invaluable, especially now as a mother myself.

As for summer plans, I am hoping to take some time off with my family. Despite being busy with Brunel, my small team and I are planning a vacation, possibly in Europe. I love Italy, so that is a top contender for our destination. We also plan to visit the Galapagos with friends, as my husband is from Ecuador. I am excited for my daughter to experience the beauty of nature and wildlife there.

Overall, I am looking forward to some quality time with my loved ones and creating lasting memories this summer. sentence with your own words: The student’s assignment was completed in an efficient manner.
