Juice Plus Superfood Powder Review

Being a mother of two toddlers while working full-time keeps me constantly busy. Despite ensuring that my kids have healthy, balanced meals, I often neglect my own nutrition. I’m sure many other moms can relate to this struggle. However, whether you’re a parent or not, many of us fall short of meeting the daily recommended intake of fruits and vegetables, which are essential for our overall well-being. Shockingly, a report by the CDC in 2022 revealed that only 1 in 10 adults consume the recommended 2 to 3 cups of fruits and vegetables daily. To address this issue and improve my health, I started incorporating Juice Plus’s Superfood Powder into my daily routine last year, and it has made a significant difference. Here’s my honest review.

The Advantages of Using This Superfood Powder

Developed three decades ago, Juice Plus was founded by Jay Martin, who revolutionized the dehydration process of fruits and vegetables to preserve their nutrients, packaging them in a convenient powder form. Prior to the launch of this powder in 2025, consumers had to take three separate capsules for fruits, berries, and vegetables to obtain the full spectrum of benefits. Now, this powder combines all three components, making it easier to get your daily dose of essential nutrients on-the-go. Additionally, it contains no added sugars. During the product launch, I had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Mitra Ray, PhD, a cell biologist trained at Stanford University, who collaborates with Juice Plus to promote education and awareness.

Dr. Ray emphasizes, “Juice Plus stands out as the most extensively researched whole food nutritional product available today. As a scientist, I highly recommend this Superfood Powder because of its proven clinical benefits across various bodily systems. Instead of overdosing on single supplements—which is a common issue nowadays—you’re receiving small quantities of 30 different fruits, vegetables, and berries. The synergistic effect of these nutrients promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria in your gut and facilitates the body’s natural healing processes. Personally, I cannot tolerate isolated supplements as they often cause nausea, but I can easily consume this powder or the capsules on an empty stomach, proving its food-like nature. In fact, the product is labeled as a food rather than a supplement, essentially functioning as a functional food that enhances skin health, cardiovascular well-being, immune function, gum health, and more.”

According to Dr. Ray, multiple clinical studies have demonstrated that the powder aids in maintaining healthy blood pressure and cholesterol levels, as well as supporting flexible arteries. It also boosts the immune system and neutralizes free radicals in the body through its antioxidant properties. In terms of skincare, research shows that the Superfood Powder enhances skin micro-circulation, increases skin hydration, density, and thickness in middle-aged women. Personally, I have experienced heightened energy levels, reduced headaches, and an overall sense of well-being knowing that I am nourishing my body with essential nutrients.

How to Incorporate It into Your Routine

As Dr. Ray mentioned, the powder is easily assimilated by the body and, like her, it has never caused any stomach issues for me. I take it daily at various times based on convenience, enjoying its fruity taste mixed with water or added to a smoothie. The brand recommends at least 10 ounces of water, but I prefer more. I typically mix it into my 24-ounce Owala bottle, maintaining its delicious flavor. Sometimes, I divide the powder between two standard water bottles to increase my water intake, especially when traveling without my Owala. Since the powder requires thorough mixing to dissolve completely, I recommend using a handheld frother or shaking it vigorously in a closed water bottle. Despite some residual powder settling at the bottom of the cup, I make sure to add extra water to consume every bit of this valuable product.
