Karisma Kapoor Shares the Story Behind Their Nicknames ‘Lolo’ and ‘Bebo’
In a recent interview with BollywoodShaadis, Karisma Kapoor revealed the interesting story behind the nicknames she and her sister Kareena Kapoor Khan are known by – ‘Lolo’ and ‘Bebo’ respectively.
According to Karisma, their grandfather, the legendary actor Raj Kapoor, gave her the nickname ‘Lolo’ when she was just a child. He was inspired by the famous Hollywood actress Gina Lollobrigida and thought the name suited Karisma perfectly.
As for Kareena, she was given the nickname ‘Bebo’ by her family. It is said to be a play on her full name, Kareena, and was a term of endearment used by her loved ones.
