The kids’ bath was complete, but the desire to add wallpaper to the water closet lingered. After two years of thoughtful consideration, the decision was made to enhance the room with a pattern that wouldn’t overwhelm the space. The existing blue tile floor added a touch of serenity to the room, making it an ideal canvas for the upcoming change.

After careful consideration, a tree motif wallpaper pattern was chosen for its organic movement and warm tones that complemented the existing wood and gold accents in the bathroom. The decision-making process involved weighing the options between different colorways and their potential impact on the overall aesthetic of the space.

The final choice was a green wallpaper, which initially felt overwhelming but eventually blended well with the existing decor elements. The process of transformation highlighted the importance of balance and harmony in design decisions, even in smaller spaces like a water closet.

Reflections on the Transformation

While the end result may not have been exactly as expected, the addition of wallpaper to the water closet brought a new dimension to the bathroom. The interplay of colors and patterns created a unique ambiance that added character to the space. The journey of design evolution is a reminder that every decision contributes to the overall narrative of a home.

Ultimately, the journey of designing and decorating a home is a continuous exploration of creativity and self-expression. Each choice, whether big or small, contributes to the beauty and uniqueness of a space, making it a reflection of personal style and evolving tastes.
