Before BBQ Shed

This summer marks our third year living here, and we’ve gained valuable insights into how we utilize our backyard. We love hosting large multi-family neighborhood gatherings, including fundraisers like our annual “wine and swine” event. These gatherings have become a highlight for our school community, resembling family frat parties full of fun and laughter. Knowing that we’d eventually want a dedicated area for grilling and cooking, we waited until we had a clear vision before beginning construction. With the help of Dennis’ 7 Dees, we are now in the process of creating a fantastic outdoor kitchen and gazebo space that will be perfect for our gatherings.

Before Sports Court

Our sports court turned out to be a costly mistake, and we realized it was too large for our property. After consulting with Dennis 7 Dees, we decided to reduce its size and transform the area into a more natural, park-like setting. The changes will include more greenery, picnic areas, and seating spaces, creating a welcoming environment for future events and gatherings.

Clover Lawn Near The Paddock

Clover Lawn

While budget constraints led us to opt for a seeded clover lawn near the paddock, we have plans to enhance the area with more shrubs in the future. Despite scaling back some of our landscaping ideas, we are excited about the transformation taking place on our property.

Why Are You Doing So Much To Your Property?

Full Plan

Our property holds great potential for hosting events and retreats in the future, which motivates us to make improvements that are both beautiful and functional. We envision a variety of uses for our space, from family gatherings to corporate events, and we are excited to see how it evolves over time.
