My love affair with liquid, cream, and balmy blushes started when they exploded onto the market, and it’s a love that continues to this day. I always make sure to stock up on every new version that hits the shelves because why settle for a chalky cheek color when you can achieve a dewy flush with just a quick dab? One of my top picks is the award-winning Saie Dew Blush, a blendable liquid-cream blush that seamlessly melts into the skin without streaking, even when I want to intensify the color. (Dew Blush was my gateway to discovering other must-have Saie products like Glossybounce and Lip Liner 101.)
All of this is to say that when Saie releases new makeup, I’m all ears. The brand has taken the blush category to new heights with the introduction of SuperSuede Baked Powder Blush, marking their first venture into powder blush. If you want to learn more about this innovative product and read my honest review, keep on reading.
The Innovation
“SuperSuede begins as a bouncy, pliable mound of dough that undergoes expert hand-whipping, gets delicately placed onto a terracotta disc, gently tucked in with cloth, and then baked using traditional Italian techniques. Emerging fresh out of the oven, or “forno,” SuperSuede is born,” explains the brand. Saie’s dedication to modern clean technology shines through in all their products.

The Formula
The talc-free formula of SuperSuede is incredibly plush with a buttery soft texture that feels lightweight and luxurious, thanks to the inclusion of jojoba esters, plant-derived squalane, and glycerin—potent skin hydrators. Ethically sourced silica and mica provide a burst of color with a naturally blurred finish.
The Shades

- GRAZIE, Berry
- STELLA, Bright Coral
- AMORE, Fuchsia
- CIAO, Warm Golden Brown
- BELLA, Cool-Toned Baby Pink
- MIA, Soft Rose
The Review

I had not used powder blush in years, and given my seasonally dry skin, I was initially hesitant to try SuperSuede. However, my trust in Saie pushed me to give it a shot. Upon opening the compact, I noticed the rich pigmentation of the color, so I made sure to tap my blush brush before applying. The baked texture glided on effortlessly like silk—no patchiness, no streaks, and it did not accentuate any dry patches or creases throughout the day. As time went by, only a warm, velvety flush remained. To my surprise, SuperSuede has become my most-used blush, even surpassing other liquid, cream, and balm blushes that I adore in my makeup collection. If you think powder blushes are outdated, give SuperSuede a chance, and it will change your perspective.
