Gabrielle Union stuns in Carolina Herrera at the 2024 Oscars
The talented actress made a grand entrance at the 2024 Oscars wearing a breathtaking strapless gown by Carolina Herrera. The crystal-embellished dress featured a sculptural peplum that added a touch of drama to the sleek column silhouette. To complement the sparkle of her gown, Gabrielle opted for a sleek, sculpted topknot hairstyle, radiant bronzed skin, and softly defined eyes.
Renowned celebrity hairstylist Larry Sims worked his magic on Gabrielle’s hair, using products from her own Flawless hair-care line and tools from Kristin Ess. Chanel makeup artist Asha Reiko Brown took charge of the makeup, exclusively using products from the luxury French brand.
“The stunning shine of Gabrielle’s gown inspired me to create a glowing complexion to match,” shared Brown with Vogue about her inspiration. “The gown’s structured design called for a softer makeup look, so I focused on clean, radiant skin with subtle contouring and added a peachy hue to the cheeks and lips,” she explained. “For the eyes, I opted for soft grey and taupe shades, blended to perfection, with a pop of coral on the lids for warmth. To complete the look, I added bold lashes for that extra touch of red carpet glamour.”
