It’s no secret that in 2025, many of us have fallen for the allure of viral internet products or recommendations. We’re all part of that world too! Some of these products turn out to be fantastic, while others leave much to be desired. Following the success of Caitlin’s post, the rest of the team decided to share our own viral product reviews – the good and the not-so-good. Let’s dive right in.

Manucurist Starter Kit Gift Set
I’m not a fan of getting my nails done, but I often find myself in a pickle the night before an important event with less-than-impressive nails. So, I decided to try this at-home gel kit that seemed user-friendly. Unfortunately, despite its intuitive process, the gels tend to peel off within just a couple of days. Given the high cost of the product, I can’t say I recommend it. It was a disappointment for me, and now I know better!

Medicube Zero Pore Pads 2.0 | Medicube Salmon DNA PDRN Pink One Day Serum

Kelly Oxford convinced me to try some Korean beauty products, and I’m glad I did. Although I’m still figuring out the order in which to use them (thanks to Medicube’s range), my skin has been loving the results. The plump and glowing effect is addictive, even if I’m going through the products quickly. I’m eager to explore more Korean beauty products and add them to my skincare routine.

Switching gears to fiber from protein, I tried out these Floura bars after seeing the founder of Jenny’s Ice Cream promoting them. While the bars are fine, I’m still unsure about their effectiveness given my existing supplement routine. It’s a decent alternative for a quick fiber boost, but I’ll need more time to assess their impact on my overall health.

Redken All-Soft Shampoo & Conditioner
This TikTok-recommended shampoo and conditioner set turned out to be a disappointment for me. Despite claims of being suitable for fine, dry hair, it left my wavy/frizzy hair looking dry and brittle. I prefer other brands for a better outcome, especially when it comes to nourishing my hair. Lesson learned!

After being intrigued by a more affordable alternative to a high-end perfume, I decided to try out the budget-friendly version. While it may not have the longevity of a luxury perfume, it still garners compliments and serves its purpose well. It’s a good compromise for those looking for a delightful scent without breaking the bank.
