Hope you all had a fantastic week. We are currently out of office, enjoying some quality time with our loved ones, and feeling incredibly grateful for this opportunity. No major updates from EHD, so please enjoy the links for this week.

This week’s house tour is absolutely breathtaking! Mallory shared it in our “watercooler” Slack channel, and we all couldn’t stop gushing over it. With the talented Commune Design behind it, it’s no surprise that we fell in love. Enjoy!

From Emily: Cathy and Gartett from The Grit and Polish unveiled their Poplar Cottage kitchen, a project they worked on for over 5 years. I admire their dedication and attention to detail, so be sure to check out their kitchen reveal if you haven’t already. It’s charming, cozy, and perfectly reflects their style. Great job, guys!

Also From Emily: I have to give a shoutout to my slippers, which have quickly become my favorite accessory. Working from home, I take my slipper game seriously. Whether it’s the easy-to-slip-on ones, moccasins, or tall Uggs, I can’t work without them. They may be a bit pricey, but the durability and comfort make them worth every penny.

From Jess: To combat the cold on the East Coast, I recently purchased this adorable knitted scarf neckerchief. Not only does it keep me warm, but it also adds a stylish touch to any outfit. The versatility of this accessory is what makes it a must-have in my wardrobe.

From Arlyn: As the holiday season approaches, I found a therapeutic activity for both kids and adults – making worry stones. Following a simple tutorial, we crafted these stones using clay and sealed them with glossy Modge Podge. The calming effect of rubbing these stones is truly magical, and they make for a thoughtful gift as well.

From Gretchen: Inspired by Marlee’s DIY gift ideas, I decided to create mini magnet photo frames for my parents. Using Sculpey clay, stamp letters, and cookie cutters, I personalized these frames with photos and sealed them with glossy spray paint. The end result was a sentimental and functional gift that my parents absolutely loved.

From Mallory: Currently on a weekend getaway in Los Alamos with my boyfriend, Austin, enjoying the charm of this picturesque town. With cozy BBQ joints, quaint antique shops, and a one-star Michelin restaurant, this hidden gem is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. If you’re looking for a unique getaway, I highly recommend exploring this underrated destination.

From Marlee: Dealing with dry skin during the winter can be a challenge, especially on the forehead. After trying the Instant-Angel Firming Moisturizer by Dieux, I noticed a significant improvement in my skin’s hydration and texture. Pairing it with the Dieux Reviving Eye Gel has been a game-changer for my skincare routine, providing much-needed relief for my dry under eyes.

We truly appreciate your continued support and look forward to sharing more with you soon. Stay tuned for our next post. xx
