Happy Sunday and happy first day of June! It always arrives so quickly. Not much new here, just been busy shooting some important rooms at the river house, Les shared his highly anticipated Father’s Day gift guide, and hopefully everyone had a great long weekend. And guess what? Half-day summer Fridays are back! That’s definitely something to celebrate as June has arrived so fast 🙂 Ready for some links? Let’s dive in.
This week’s house tour is probably the most colorful and playful one we’ve featured. It’s full of fun and personality, so go take a look if you need a smile!
From Emily: Many of you have been asking about the dishware, glassware, and flatware in our outdoor kitchen. I found this set of 6 place settings with wooden handles for $35 that has a cute camping vibe and is affordable enough to replace if needed. They’re not meant for everyday use, but they’ve been great for us so far.
From Caitlin: Do you pay close attention to the Link Up? A while back, Intentionally Blank, one of our favorite small LA businesses, faced a big tariff bill. To help pay it off, they had a 30% off sale where I got these sculptural cognac leather mules and these sturdy black summer sandals. The quality is amazing, and they’re super comfortable right out of the box!
From Jess: I recently went on a city vacation to Mexico and needed some cute summer tops that I could wear with a normal bra. I found this linen vest that’s different from the standard vest and perfect for day or night.
From Arlyn: Don’t forget to try this burrata board recipe by our friend Meg. It’s a delicious and easy meal to enjoy alone or with friends.
From Mallory: I finally got this lamp that I’ve had my eye on for a while. It’s on sale and has a dimmer switch, making it a great addition to any room.
From Gretchen: If you love games, you should try Anomia, a fun word and card game that’s perfect for game night.
From Marlee: I found this dress from Afends that doubles as a casual summer dress. It’s comfortable, lightweight, and perfect for everyday wear.
Thanks for stopping by, and don’t forget to come back tomorrow for an exciting update. xx
