Happy Sunday, everyone. It’s the second Sunday of 2026, but it feels like the first after completing our first week back at work. We shared our annual kitchen trends post, Mal’s 1950s kitchen refresh, and talked about organizing (a January tradition). Despite the challenges our country faces, we are grateful to be back with all of you. Let’s remember that this is not normal and strive for a safer, kinder future in 2026 and beyond.
From Emily: While in Montana over the break, I finally finished reading “Verity” by Colleen Hoover. I also recommend “People We Meet On Vacation” by Emily Henry. I’m excited for the upcoming movie adaptations of these books. If you need more book recommendations, check out Beach Reads & Bubbles for entertaining novels in various genres.
From Jess: I recently tried Victoria Beckman’s Satin Kajal Liner and loved it. I also recommend checking out Printemps, a French department store in New York City. Their makeup selection is inspiring.
From Arlyn: Start the year with a pumice toilet bowl wand to tackle hard water stains. It’s a simple and effective solution for stubborn toilet rings.
From Gretchen: Dealing with frequent headaches, Gretchen found relief with an acupressure mat. It’s a non-invasive way to alleviate tension and promote relaxation.
From Marlee: If you’re looking to reduce screen time, try Puzzlemania, a puzzle workbook with a variety of games to keep you entertained. It’s a great alternative to digital entertainment.
From Mallory: Mallory received a stylish baseball cap as a Christmas gift and loves wearing it. Sometimes, the simplest gifts bring the most joy.
From Caitlin: Caitlin shared the passing of her mother, Brenda, after a long battle with cancer. She expresses gratitude for the support she received during this difficult time.
Thank you for joining us this week. See you tomorrow for more content!
