Before becoming a beauty editor, I used to stick to the same shampoo and conditioner. Now, my shower is filled with a variety of the latest formulas I’m testing. Recently, I tried some impressive products from a newer beauty brand called The Rootist. You might have seen their popular Dry Shampoo and Densifying Serum go viral on TikTok. I recently tried their Strengthen Concentrated Shampoo and Conditioner, and I was impressed. Here’s why.

The Benefits of This Strengthening Shampoo and Conditioner

The latest trend in skincare has made its way to hair care with the use of fermented ingredients. The key ingredient in this duo is the brand’s Rootbiomic Ferment, a “multivitamin superfood” rich in effective proteins, roots, and mushrooms. These fermented ingredients provide essential micronutrients that promote strong, healthy hair. The formula includes botanicals like Chinese skullcap root, red ginseng root, Reishi mushroom, and more, along with bio-peptides that strengthen the hair.

The shampoo is color-safe, sulfate-free, and leaves hair clean and moisturized. The conditioner is silicone-free, repairs damage, and deeply moisturizes the hair. Both products help improve scalp health and reduce oiliness. The concentrated formula means less water, making the packaging eco-friendly and more potent. Plus, you only need a small amount for each use.
