The DIY demo of the guest cottage was quite an adventure. My brother, Ken, known for his demolition skills, joined Brian and me on a random morning to tackle the project. Despite my initial confidence in my strength and ability to get my hands dirty, I quickly realized that demolition work was not as easy as I had imagined. Here’s a breakdown of how it all went down – the cost, the time it took, and what we accomplished.
The “Kitchen”
The tiny vintage kitchen needed a complete overhaul. Everything had to go, except for the floating shelving which was salvageable.
