The Sofas And Chairs We Nixed From Our Collection (And Why)

The Bearcat

The Bearcat chair was not included in the Room Service sofa collection due to some design flaws. The back of the chair was too vertical, and the arms were not shaped as intended. Overall, it didn’t meet the standards of excitement and functionality that we were aiming for in the collection. The chair appeared too generic and lacked the wow factor we were looking for. While it was a neutral piece, it just didn’t stand out enough to make the cut.

The Bert

Bert, another chair in the collection, was comfortable but fell short in terms of design. The shiny tone of the wood and the overall look of the chair didn’t meet our expectations. While it was great for lounging, it lacked the elegance we were looking for in a living room piece. The scale of the chair was generous, but it didn’t fit the vision we had for the collection.

The Bennett (Old Version)

The first version of the Bennett sofa had some design issues that led us to redesign it. The front cushion popped up off the base, and the middle seat wasn’t deep enough. We reworked the seat cushions and improved the foam to make it more comfortable and visually appealing. The new version of the Bennett is now a standout piece in the collection, offering both comfort and style in one package.

The Milo (The Rust Fabric)

The Milo sofa in the rust colorway was excluded from the collection due to redundancy with another piece. While we liked the color and softness of the fabric, we decided to focus on other color options for the Milo. The design of the sofa was sleek and modern, making it a versatile piece for different spaces.

We put a lot of effort into designing and curating this furniture collection to ensure that each piece met our standards of quality and design. We are excited to share these new additions with you and hope they bring both comfort and style to your homes. Feel free to reach out with any questions or feedback you may have!
