I want to express my gratitude to everyone who took the time to read and comment on our primary bathroom reveal last week. Your kind words truly meant a lot to me. Writing for the blog is still a bit nerve-wracking for me, but hearing from you all makes it so much fun!
Today, I am thrilled to share the transformation of our daughters’ bathroom. In my last post in July, I gave a sneak peek of the space before the renovation, so here’s a quick refresher.

Compared to the primary bathroom, the girls’ bathroom wasn’t as bad. The tile condition was better, and the space was slightly larger. The renovation involved removing the old and bringing in the new to refresh the space.
We had a moodboard for the space, which guided the design process.

Designing this bathroom was more challenging for me than the primary one. The pressure was higher since it’s the bathroom most guests would see. We also have a small half bath off the kitchen, which we quickly updated during our main floor remodel. The girls’ bathroom needed to be fun and playful but also adaptable as they grow older.
The Tile Transformation
When the tile installers arrived, there was a moment of panic regarding the patterned tile in the girls’ bathroom. After some second-guessing, we decided to stick with the checkered layout, which completely transformed the space and added a playful vibe.

However, a mishap around the niches during the tile installation caused some disappointment. With some encouragement, we addressed the issue, and the tile guy fixed it promptly. The bathroom now looks fantastic.

With the renovation drama behind us, it’s time for the final reveal…
Thank you to AllModern for providing the beautiful fixtures for this space. The simple and playful vanity offers ample storage for my daughters’ knick-knacks and accessories.
The skylight installation was a game-changer, brightening up the space and making it feel happier. The paneling on the walls adds warmth and character, elevating the design.
The bathroom now features a sweet color palette with a balance of pink and yellow tones. The Ivory Gloss floor tile and the Tumbleweed and Haystack shower wall tiles create a harmonious look.
Overall, the transformation of the girls’ bathroom is a success, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share this design journey. A big thank you to Emily for her support and to our partners for making this space feel special.
