BIG Landscaping Update – Phase 2 Is Done And Our “Mistake” Is Finally Fixed!

I was thrilled to correct a major mistake by transforming a third of our sports court into a beautiful green space with flagstone, picnic tables, and trees. We enlisted the help of Dennis’ 7Dees for the design and execution, and the results exceeded our expectations. The project, which began in February and was completed by late April, progressed rapidly and the yard underwent a remarkable transformation every day. Brian and I were amazed by the outcome, and I feel incredibly fortunate and grateful. The landscaping has continued to flourish, and it looks even more stunning now. Previously, our property had an oversized, run-down tennis court that spanned the entire width of the backyard. After four years, it has finally been resized to its proper dimensions.

Our backyard, once dominated by a broken asphalt tennis court, has undergone a remarkable transformation…

However, the initial allure of the property led us to delay the transformation, thinking it would be a gradual process. The landscaping around the house suffered due to construction, prompting us to begin phase one in 2021-2022. While the initial changes made a significant impact, we had to pause due to budget constraints and renovation fatigue. The decision to revisit the landscaping was made this winter.

The recent changes have resulted in a stunning and functional outdoor space. The sports court was still too large, prompting us to hire professionals to make the necessary adjustments.
