Let’s face it, some of us only have time for one really good multitasking product. If you’re in this group, you want that one rockstar to deliver a little bit of coverage, sun protection, and skincare. Naked Sundays answers the call with its brand-new BeautyScreen SPF50 Peptide Foundation Tint ($38). With a high SPF of 50 (many skin tints max out at 30), you get even more sun protection.
“BeautyScreen has been three years in the making with a waitlist of over 100,000,” says brand founder Samantha Brett. “It’s been our most requested product ever, and we wanted to get it 100-percent right, make it sensitive-skin friendly, and ensure it is as inclusive as possible.” These are my honest thoughts after giving it a try.
What Makes This Tinted Sunscreen Different
Loaded with efficacious skincare ingredients, this tinted sunscreen does allow you to skip skincare, but that also depends on your skin type and concerns. It definitely has that second-skin vibe everyone is loving right now.
So what are the key ingredients making it so skin-friendly? “We’ve added a bunch of superfood antioxidants, plus peptides and polyglutamic acid for added hydration,” says Brett. Niacinamide and squalane are also in the mix, lending brightening and hydration respectively. There’s also 12-percent non-nano zinc oxide adding the sun protection. Plus, the SPF also protects against blue light and infrared light.

Brett describes the finish as satin, which is a cross between matte and dewy. “We also heard feedback from our customers that other tints were too glossy or didn’t have enough coverage, so we wanted to ensure ours provided a satin finish with medium coverage.”
Key Ingredients
Peptides, polyglutamic acid, niacinamide, squalane, and iron oxide
How to Use It
Before applying, shake the tube to activate the tint. You can apply it with your fingers, a brush, or a sponge. With a denser brush, you get a more even application. Also, don’t forget to blend the product down onto your neck as well so you don’t have a line of demarcation along your jawline.
