OLAY Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream, one of the most iconic creams in skin care, has undergone a transformation. The new formula features Triple Collagen Peptide, a synergistic compound proven to strengthen cellular bonds in the skin. This helps enhance the skin’s natural collagen, reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and dullness for visibly firmer, smoother skin. In clinical studies, 97 percent of testers saw visible results in just two weeks. Even the beloved red jar got an upgrade.
Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, 48, known for her roles in the ’90s, including Cruel Intentions, is the face of OLAY’s campaign for the best-selling cream. At an event in New York hosted by OLAY, she shared her thoughts on aging, confidence, skin care, and more.
Aging is a privilege, but can also feel quite jarring. Have you ever felt disconnected looking at yourself in the mirror?
“Everyone always wants to show me a picture of myself from 20 years ago. I have to confront what I looked like then and now. I don’t want to be 20 again. Would I love the skin of a 20-year-old? Absolutely. But that’s not realistic. I feel like OLAY and I are similar in wanting to keep improving and getting better. Just like this product release, we all trust OLAY, but what if it could be even better?”

“I have those moments when I see filters on our phones. We have false expectations of how we look, forgetting that lighting plays a significant role. Why do stores have fluorescent lighting? Don’t they want us to buy their products?”
What are your thoughts on cosmetic procedures at this stage of life?
“In my 20s, facelifts were for when you were 70 and fabulous. It’s heartbreaking to see young girls with unrealistic expectations. I want to look like myself. There are products that can slow down aging while allowing you to be yourself. I would tell young girls not to alter their faces and find confidence within.”
Do you ever struggle with confidence?
“I do struggle with confidence at times. Seeing younger girls makes me question if I should do more to be relevant. But I don’t want a completely different face. I want to be the best version of myself.”
Why were you inspired to join OLAY’s campaign for the new Micro-Sculpting Cream?
“Skin care has always been important to me, and accessibility to good products backed by science is crucial. OLAY makes skin care simple and accessible. I trust OLAY, but the brand wants to do more and be better, which is inspiring to me.”
