We have recently installed new striped wallpaper on the staircase, and I am absolutely in love with it. While it may not be bold or flashy, it is a perfect fit for this large area (bottom stair landing and top landing) and will serve as a lovely backdrop for all of our family photos along the stairs.

In case you missed it, the original wallpaper we had installed (a delicate ticking stripe) was incredibly fragile and easily damaged. After it suffered significant damage during a photoshoot, I made the decision to replace it with a much more durable paper that looks even better. The new stripe is wider and more visible compared to the original, subtle stripe.

I enjoy walking up the stairs to the beautiful window at the top, and I wanted to keep the space light and airy, especially to showcase our family photos.

The new wallpaper complements the existing wallpaper in the bathroom and laundry closet, adding a subtle yet significant touch to the space.

Overall, the new striped wallpaper has made a big impact, despite its subtle appearance. I am thrilled with how it turned out.
Old Wallpaper:

The previous wallpaper was barely visible, and I acknowledge that it was not the best choice. Additionally, I am considering painting the vintage metal register to better match the space.
New Wallpaper:

The new stripe has significantly improved the space and has a much greater impact. I am delighted with the result.
Painting Swap!!

My daughter decided to change her room and no longer wanted the colorful painting, which I am now using in this space. The painting adds a beautiful pop of color and complements the room perfectly.

I am thrilled with how the painting looks in this space, alongside the vintage chair and Bzippy vase. The scale of the art is perfect, and the way the light hits it enhances the colors beautifully.

In conclusion, the new wallpaper has transformed the space, and I am extremely happy with how it looks. Next, I plan on painting the upper landing floor to match the blue floor. Stay tuned for more updates.
