Vintage Art Collection: A Tour of My Latest Finds

As a self-proclaimed show-and-teller, I am excited to share my recent vintage art haul with you. Shot in the still-in-progress Game room of our guest cottage, the walls adorned with reclaimed wood set the perfect backdrop for these unique pieces. Despite the unfinished floors and lack of lighting, the creative energy in this space is palpable. Shooting in this house is a refreshing change of scenery for my team, inspiring us with new colors and textures to work with. The potential for diverse backdrops excites us, making this house a versatile setting for our shoots. Recently, I indulged in some vintage art shopping, primarily focusing on pieces for my sister’s kitchen and the cozy guest cottage. Let’s take a closer look at some of the treasures I’ve acquired.

Vintage Art

Let’s start with a splurge – a stunning vintage oil painting from Form & Function, a local Scandinavian vintage shop. While the price tag of $425 may seem steep, the colors, textures, and overall vibe of this piece make it worth every penny. With its intricate frame and captivating scene, it is destined to find a place of honor in the guest cottage.

Next up is a more budget-friendly find – a charming piece from the Monticello antique mall priced at $45. While it may have been an impulsive purchase, the beauty of this artwork is undeniable. Despite a slightly damaged frame, its allure remains intact.

Moving on to a pair of vintage art pieces – one a $45 find in a pretty frame, likely a newer creation with vintage charm, and the other an original artwork with captivating colors and composition. These pieces are destined for my sister’s kitchen and the Tiny House, adding character and style to these spaces.

Stay tuned for more updates on my vintage art collection. xx
