The 100X Reining Classic concluded after nine days of intense competition in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The event showcased some of the best horses and riders in the sport, with a total of $1.8 million in added prize money distributed across various competitions from Aug. 29 to Sept. 6.
Cade McCutcheon and Twohundreddegrees Take the 100X Invitational
Cade McCutcheon emerged victorious in the 100X Invitational, guiding Twohundreddegrees to a score of 223½ to clinch the Level 4 Open championship and a prize of $75,000. McCutcheon also secured the second spot with Midnight Crush and tied for second place with Markedfourgreatness, earning $37,799 each.
This win added to McCutcheon’s successful summer, following his Level 4 Open Derby championship at the 100X Brazos Slide in July.
Andrea Fappani and Three Horses Deliver Three of the Week’s Top Scores
Andrea Fappani showcased exceptional consistency throughout the 100X Reining Classic, securing three of the top scores of the week with different horses and claiming multiple championships across various classes.
Fappani’s standout performance included a score of 232 with Best Is Yet Too Come, earning them the Level 4 finals championship. He also secured victories with OO7 and Shining Guns N Roses in the Open Derby and NARS Open Derby, respectively.
Fernando Salgado and Spookadoo Top the Open Futurity
Fernando Salgado claimed the Open Futurity championship aboard Spookadoo with a score of 225, adding another significant win to his impressive week at the 100X Reining Classic.

Lane Colston secured the Non Pro Futurity title with a score of 222 riding Dust, showcasing a strong performance in the competition.
