“I love that my idea of being bold now is adding a touch of eyeshadow under the eye,” she remarks. She also admits to going overboard with blush in the past, recalling a cringe-worthy moment from 2006 with bright pink magenta blush that still haunts her.
Aside from blush, Song also mentions her eyebrow mishaps, including over-plucking that left her with thin “worm brows” during her formative years. She later embraced the trend of bold, microbladed brows, despite some initial regrets.
Her Essential Lash Tip and Beauty Advice
On The Suite Life, Song’s makeup artist taught her the importance of focusing on one key aspect of her makeup. Currently, she prioritizes her skin and aims to enhance its natural beauty rather than covering it up.
When it comes to her lashes, Song struggles with finding the right mascara for her Asian straight lashes. She follows a moisture-focused cleansing routine, using a blend of avocado, coconut, and castor oils to remove eye makeup and keep her lashes hydrated.
She mentioned, “It seems like it has really made my lashes grow significantly.”
