Eva Longoria recently celebrated her 50th birthday during the Cannes Film Festival, where she chatted with me about her long-standing partnership with L’Oréal Paris and the upcoming Lights On Women’s Worth Award Ceremony. In our interview, Longoria discusses her shift towards a “less is more” approach to life and beauty.
Turning 50 is a major milestone—how does it feel?
“It feels amazing! The first half of my life was all about saying yes to every opportunity that came my way. Now, I’m focusing on saying no and prioritizing what truly matters to me. Quality over quantity is my mantra now.”
Have you noticed any changes in your skin as you enter this new chapter?
“Surprisingly, my skin is looking great right now. I think the ‘less is more’ approach is really working for me. I used to rely heavily on makeup to create a certain image, but now I’m embracing a more natural look.”
What beauty products are you currently loving?
“I’m obsessed with the new Skin Ink foundation and concealer—it’s so lightweight and buildable. And of course, my go-to Magic Root Cover Up for those in-between salon visits. L’Oréal has truly excelled in the beauty industry with their innovative products.”
Longoria also praises L’Oréal’s technology advancements in makeup and hair care, emphasizing the importance of multi-functional products. She recommends the Revitalift line for skincare, particularly the Eye Serum and Retinol Night Serum for their dermatologist-quality formulas.
What is your go-to beauty look these days?
“I focus on enhancing my brows, using a tinted moisturizer, and adding some Lashify lashes for a natural yet polished look. I’m also loving liquid and cream blushes that offer multiple benefits in one product.”
