Despite the privilege we have to undertake such an expensive project, I believe that sharing these details can be educational for others. Our initial goal was to restore this house and make it a comfortable home, but as we delved into the quotes, our perspective shifted. Let’s explore the journey through the foundation quotes we received.

The second quote from a nationwide company didn’t align with our project vision, leading us to explore other options. The third quote offered insights into different approaches, prompting us to seek more cost-effective solutions.
The Final Quote
Company D presented a unique approach to our foundation repair, focusing on safety and longevity. By reducing the scope of work, they offered a revised quote of $29k, which aligned better with our budget and goals. This approach provided a sense of relief and confidence in moving forward with the project.

By reevaluating our expectations and priorities, we have found a solution that meets our needs without compromising on quality.
