Dermatologists often emphasize the importance of wearing sunscreen regularly to protect your skin. According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, only about 12 to 13.5 percent of U.S. adults apply sunscreen daily. Recently, I discovered Lerinn Beauty’s ZincPure Sunmilk SPF 50 PA++++, a sunscreen that I not only use myself but also recommend. Here is my honest review.
The Benefits of This Mineral Sunscreen
One of the key features of this broad-spectrum formula is its suitability for sensitive skin. Formulated by founder Serrina Lin, a formulation scientist, this sunscreen is ideal for those with sensitivities. Mineral sunscreens, like this one, are recommended by dermatologists as they sit on the skin’s surface, providing a physical barrier against the sun’s rays. Additionally, this sunscreen is fragrance-free and safe for use after in-office procedures such as peels, microneedling, and lasers.
In addition to 10-percent non-nano zinc oxide, this sunscreen contains plankton extract, niacinamide, ascorbyl palmitate (a stable form of vitamin C), and vitamin E. These antioxidants help protect the skin from free radicals and enhance its defense against UV damage.

The silky, milky texture of ZincPure Sunmilk blends seamlessly into the skin, leaving a dewy finish. I did not experience any white cast after applying the recommended amount, although I have light skin. I cannot comment on how it looks on deeper skin tones.
I have worn ZincPure Sunmilk on its own and under makeup without any issues. It also held up well during a workout and did not irritate my eyes when I sweat. In conclusion, I appreciate the mineral protection this SPF offers in a elegant formula that I actually enjoy using.
