2026 Legacy Reining Breeders Sale
The Legacy Reining Breeders Sale results are now available from ThorSport Ranch in Aubrey, Texas. The 26th annual sale took place on September 18-19, 2026.
This year, the event started with a new addition: the 1st Annual Legacy Designer Sale. This exclusive black-tie evening auction was held the night before the main sale and featured a curated selection of prospects, broodmares, and proven performers from top reining breeders. The Designer Sale was a luxurious dinner-service event that brought in $2,320,000 across 31 lots, with an average price of $89,230 and a median sale price of $78,750.
The highest-selling horse of the two-day event was a 2-year-old stallion named Dun Deja. Sired by Gunner and out of Dun Its Deja Vu, he is a full brother to Gunner Dun It Again. Dun Deja was consigned by Toyon Ranch and purchased by Jose Briseno.
